Is “US democracy” better than China’s?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

“United States’ (US) democracy” is designed to represent only its oligarchs, while the government of the People’s Republic of China is designed to represent 100% of her citizens. Please click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/SBqNnGhiHMc

Puerto Ricans are US citizens, but our national territory has been a US colony for the past 125 years. The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Two thirds of Puerto Ricans live away from our national territory, and half of those who have stayed live in poverty.

China has already eradicated her poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. The US, although it claims to be the champion of democracy, currently has 38 million Americans living in poverty. The US, however, has the evidence to legitimately claim instead to be the champion of plutocracy, because 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens.

The US was the only nation to have voted 3 times in the UN’s Security Council to allow Israel to continue committing its war crimes that include collective punishment, ethnic cleansing and genocide against Palestinians. What kind of democracy is that?

A “democracy” that threatens peace!
