Western nations have always believed in colonialism. Western nations will try to destroy any nation that practices democracy. The United States has consistently refused to comply with the overwhelming democratic desire of the international community to halt her illegal blockade of Cuba.
In the case of Puerto Rico, the US militarily invaded her in 1898 to make her a US colony. In 1945, the US refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. And presently, the US consistently ignores 41 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
No wonder the world today considers the US as the biggest threat to peace!
