Yemen’s role as David

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

Yemen, the poorest Arab nation, is the one that has dared to make Israel pay dearly for its war crimes that include selective punishment, ethnic cleansing, and genocide against Palestinians. Please click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/CxZiNQwYWpI

Yemen has astonished the world by successfully sanctioning economically Israel for its crimes, when organizations established to secure world peace have either chosen to do nothing, or have been ineffective.

The success of Yemen’s action is evidenced by the fact that the United States (US) has formed a coalition of nations, “Operation Prosperity Guardian”, to protect ships going through the Red Sea. These nations are the US, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Netherland, Norway, Seychelles and Spain.

These nations, however, should have refused to join the coalition, because it is the US that is the only nation fueling the war, by being the only one that voted against the UN’s resolution at the Security Council. The aim of this coalition, of course, is to only protect the prosperity of “The Garden” over “The Jungle”.

That is also why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. That is a crime against humanity!

The 800 US military bases around the world is to make US oligarchs even richer. That was the warning given to us by US Major General Butler in his book WAR IS A RACKET, and US President Eisenhower in his farewell speech to the nation. The US, however, would like us to believe that war, rather than diplomacy, could bring peace.

The US preferred “might means right” goes against “In God We Trust”.
