US is the unfair competitor

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The People’s Republic of China is outperforming the United States (US) to the point that it has suddenly decided to close down its neoliberal capitalism in order to protect its oligarchs. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/GUpWxNcdnYU

The US is hypocritically accusing China of unfair practices, as it alleges that her socialism supports her industries. The US claims that by doing so, it puts US industries at a disadvantage.

The US has always practiced protectionism, until it became a hegemon. After that, the US invited the world to adopt neoliberalism.

US oligarchs want to return to protectionism to avoid economic losses to China. The oligarchs had no problem when neoliberalism caused US citizens’ to lose their jobs by their decision to ship production to China. 38 million Americans today live in poverty, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens.

Obviously, the US is an oligarchy. That is why only 33% of US citizens are satisfied with our government. 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government, despite the US’ claim that it is not a democracy. China, however, has eradicated her poverty, despite having 4 times the US’ population. If that is not democracy, I don’t know what is?

How could the US be democratic by consistently refusing to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?

Americans must save ourselves from our own government.
