PR migration caused by US colonialism

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

The following video documents the migration of Puerto Ricans to the United States (US). The Puerto Ricans in exile decided to organize themselves politically in order to insert themselves into US politics. They believed that Puerto Rico’s colonialism could be solved via the US’ so-called “democracy”. Please click on the following link to watch the documentary: https://youtu.be/-m5SgbBvc-k

Was Puerto Rico’s colonialism created via democracy? No. The US militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her a US colony 125 years ago? So why should anyone believe that Puerto Rico’s colonialism could be solved via US “democracy”?

The proof is in that the US has ignored 42 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Where is the US’ belief in democracy and the rule of law by not doing so? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The proof is in that today 2 thirds of Puerto Ricans have emigrated from our national territory, and half of those who have not, live in poverty. Where is the benefit for Puerto Ricans of Puerto Ricans having inserting themselves into US “democracy”?

The only way to end Puerto Rico’s colonialism is for the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law.

Boricuas need resistance and not US “democracy”!
