It’s between the US and PR

What is the United States Government’s (USG) official position to its violation of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter for the past 73 years, and its violation to 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?

USG alleges that its political relationship with Puerto Rico is between the USG and the government of Puerto Rico, and that the UN has no jurisdiction in the matter. The problem with the USG’ position is that it holds no relationship to history. Did the US have jurisdiction to militarily invade PR?

The USG lied in 1953 to get Puerto Rico off the UN’s list of colonies. The USG said that Puerto Rico had attained self-government with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of 1952. The UN accepted and removed Puerto Rico off its list.

Since then, the UN realized that Puerto Rico never stopped being a US colony, and holds a yearly hearing every June to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization.

The USG must have recognized that the UN had jurisdiction in this matter when in 1953 it asked the UN to take Puerto Rico off the list. The USG admitted recently in the Pueblo vs Sanchez Valles Case that the US has Puerto Rico’s sovereignty, which then means that the USG admits that Puerto Rico is a colony of the United States. Which also means that this matter is not between 2 governments. It is, in fact, between an empire and its colony. Which means that the fight is unequal!

Join the permanent protest to force the USG to comply with international law, because those who lie to keep abusing the weak don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
