How many Puerto Ricans know that the Dred Scott United States (US) Supreme Court’s decision was inserted into the Treaty of Paris of 1898 to colonize Puerto Ricans forever? Click on the following link to learn about Dred Scott: https://youtu.be/0kubhN6dXvk

The Treaty of Paris of 1898, still the rule of the land, says that the rights of Puerto Ricans shall be determined by the US government (USG). Therefore, and in essence, Puerto Ricans have no rights that the USG has to respect. And there is where that Court’s decision appears!

Dred Scott’s decision of 1857, however, served as a catalyst to the US Civil War 4 years later. It’s been 124 years since the Treaty of Paris, and still the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide have not yet engaged in permanent resistance to force the USG to abolish the Treaty of Paris.

The USG is currently in violation to the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. Moreover, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

How interesting that the USG supports the independence of Hong Kong and Taiwan, but not for Puerto Rico! That could only mean that the USG still believes in the Dred Scott decision. If we don’t push the USG to comply with international law, it never will! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

We need to push it!
