Does win-lose define democracy?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States (US) proclaims herself to be the “champion of democracy”, but her entire history has been about win-lose.

This is best exemplified as “America First”, and the fact that the US has over 800 military bases around the world. If that is democracy, why does the world consider the US as the biggest threat to peace?

The US is falling apart with decaying infrastructure, over a million Americans died from the corona virus, 38 million Americans live today in poverty, and a staggering number of US citizens are homeless. Obviously, US citizens are losing, but who is winning?

US oligarchs are the only ones winning. And they hate anyone who keeps them from winning even more!

Why is the world on the brink of World War III? We are, because these sick oligarchs would rather see us all dead, than to not become even richer. Therefore, anyone that stands for win-win is an enemy of the US Empire. The problem is that 90% of the world does!

That is why nations, even US allies, are gravitating toward the BRICS Plus. That is great news for humanity!

Puerto Rico welcomes the creation of this new world order, because she has been a US colony for the past 125 years. The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Win-win defines democracy better!

Jose M Lopez Ismael
