Does international law exist?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

There is no such thing as international law, if a genocide is allowed to continue for 6 months without being halted! Why hasn’t the international community, therefore, mobilized itself in order to stop the genocide? That is exactly what the Genocide Convention expects! What apparently does exist is the law of the jungle!

The United States (US) and the West are not the international community. They are a minority of rogue states that are unconditionally supporting the artificial colonial state of Israel in its genocidal campaign against the indigenous people of Palestine in their own homeland.

The international community can’t wait for these rogue states to follow international law. That is why the US does not want a ceasefires in Gaza. That is why the US says that Israel is not committing genocide. That is why the US has never wanted to be a part of the United Nations’ (UN) annual resolutions condemning the glorification of Nazism. That is why the US has had an illegal blockade against Cuba for the past 60 years. That is why the US blew up the Nord stream pipelines. That is why the US supported the terrorist attack in Moscow, which constitutes an act of war. And, that is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 UN resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

The Houthis should win the Nobel Peace Prize for taking the bold initiative to militarily resist Israel’s genocide!

The US has never respected the rule of law. That is why the UN has no business being located in the US!

The global majority must create itself a real democratic world order!
