Democracy and imperialism are opposites

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

Palestine wants to become a member of the United Nations (UN), but the United States (US) has veto power over that decision. Please click on this link for more:

Therefore, it is impossible for the UN to be for peace, with imperial powers with veto power wanting to enslave the rest of the nations of the world.

That is why, in the case of the US, it has 800 military bases all over the world. That is why its military budget is 10 times more than that of the next 10 nations combined. That is why today it is sponsoring the artificial colonial settler state of Israel’s genocidal campaign against the indigenous people of Palestine in their own homeland. That is why it is fighting today a proxy war against the Russian Federation in order to steal her resources. That is why it wants to go to war with the People’ Republic of China with the pretext that the US supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. That, of course, is a lie, because the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 UN’s resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. And, that is why, while 38 million Americans today live in poverty, 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens!

Instead of Palestine trying to become a UN member state, 87% of the UN member states should abandon the UN, and create a real peace organization in a nation that respects international law.

Criminals don’t respect the rule of law!
