Boricuas no pueden renunciar ciudadanía USA / Boricuas can’t renounce US citizenship

¡No!

Do you know that Puerto Ricans are the only United States (US) citizens who are not allowed to renounce their US citizenship by US law? Why?

The US government forced its citizenship on Puerto Ricans in 1917 to try to divert their loyalty towards the US, instead of their own natural Puerto Rican nation. Many Puerto Ricans are unaware that the only political body representing them at that time, refused the US’ citizenship offer.

The US government wanted Puerto Ricans to immigrate to the US in an attempt to get them out of their national territory. Pedro Albizu Campos, president of the Puerto Rico Nationalist Party, warned Puerto Ricans that the “US government wants the cage, and not the birds.” Do you know that more Puerto Ricans live out, than in Puerto Rico?

If a Puerto Rican renounces US citizenship, he is required to assume any other nation’s citizenship, with the exception of his own. Why? It wants to get you out of your national territory! It says that Puerto Rico belongs to the US, and that Puerto Ricans can’t live there without being US citizens. Is this legal? No!

Juan Mari Bras renounced his US citizenship in Venezuela in 1993 by following the US immigration law. The US government accepted it. Fufi Santori is the originator of this idea for Puerto Rico decolonization. Click here to hear him explain it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0ILA49ElNw&t=14s

When Juan returned to his homeland, the US Immigration officer asked him whether he was a US citizen or a foreigner. He said neither. “I am a Puerto Rican in my homeland!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xkmv3yM0dQ

When other Boricuas started to do the same, the government realized that it had made a mistake by accepting Juan’s renouncement. The government quickly gave orders to its embassies to not accept other Puerto Ricans renouncements, and informed Juan that it had rescinded its own acceptance to his renouncement.

This is where most people get confused! These US laws affecting adversely Puerto Ricans are in direct violation to the United Nations’ Charter. Moreover, they are also in direct violations to 36 UN resolutions asking the US government to return immediately Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Therefore, the US government legally cannot keep Puerto Ricans from living in Puerto Rico without US citizenship! http://www.un.org/en/charter-united-nations/ , http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=A/AC.109/2017/L.13

We must create a tsunami of people to permanently protest to force the US government to comply with the RULE OF LAW, because those who violate it don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
