Are Puerto Ricans brainwashed?

by José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

Most Puerto Ricans are. It is the result of 6 generations of United States colonialism. Any basic college psychology course could explain how that is done.

Here are just 5 examples to prove it:

  1. The US government told the world in 2015 that it had Puerto Rico’s sovereignty, and not the Puerto Ricans. The US government appointed a Fiscal Control Board to run Puerto Rico over the Puerto Rican elected officials. The Puerto Ricans, however, still went out to vote in the following Puerto Rican elections.
  2. When Puerto Rico candidates win elections, they administer the government for the 1%. The people, however, continue to vote for the same people who only took care of the 1%.
  3. Puerto Rico has the climate to grow what they need to eat. Puerto Ricans, however, import 85% of what they eat, and at a very high cost.
  4. Puerto Rico has been a US colony for 120 years. Puerto Ricans, however, join the US military to defend a democracy that they don’t even enjoy in their homeland.
  5. Puerto Ricans could use their engineering college in Mayaguez to make Puerto Rico run on the available renewable energy the island has. Puerto Ricans, however, run their island on the energy that they don’t have available.

Colonialism is a crime against humanity under international law. Why so many plebiscites to find out what political status Puerto Ricans want? It doesn’t matter what they want especially after 120 years of US brainwashing!

Join the resistance to force the US government to comply with the United Nations’ Charter and its 36 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

We need everybody’s help, because those who commit crimes against humanity don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
