An international law summit instead

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States government’s (USG) recent summit was supposedly for democracy. The summit’s real purpose, however, was to demonize governments that oppose neoliberalism. The proof is that the nations that are indeed for real democracy were excluded from the summit. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/5vcxVgDbuCM

China should call for a summit for international law. The USG should definitely be invited to it, because it is the biggest violator of international law. Here is just one example.

The USG has had Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 123 years, despite the fact that the United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibits colonialism since 1945. The USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Obviously, this summit was a circus! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The nations of the world should have boycotted President Biden’s circus summit. But they didn’t!

That means that the people will have to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. We can’t accept double standards, if we want justice. Without justice, there could be no peace.

The USG’s democracy has brought hardship and suffering to its citizens, and to the world. That is why the world considers the USG as the biggest threat to peace. The USG is the last one that should have called for a summit on democracy.

Neoliberalism disguised as democracy

Jose M Lopez Ismael
