Will the US ever govern for the people?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The president of the United States (US) continues to put US citizens at risk of catching the coronavirus, and perhaps dying because of it. Despite his grossly criminal handling of the pandemic from the very beginning, he is still refusing to accept expert medical advice that the coronavirus may inflict even more devastation than we have already witnessed. We must come to the sad realization that the US government (USG) governs for the 0.1% of its citizens to be able to understand the president’s behavior.

The 0.1% can’t become richer if the US economy is shut-down. The president must get the economy opened-up even if it means putting citizens at risk of dying. The best illustration of this mentality is Major General Smedley Butler’s book, “War is a Racket”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3_EXqJ8f-0&t=114s

Another excellent example is what the USG has done with Puerto Rico for the past 121 years.

The USG has repeatedly refused to comply with 38 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The USG has preferred to continue to commit a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony, than to deny the 0.1% of its citizens from becoming even richer! http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

People who value wealth over humanity don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL. Therefore, it is incumbent on all people of good will to make the world a better place for 100% of us.

Let’s organize to do that, because those who want it all for themselves don’t have their trust in God! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Not unless we force her to.
