Why US oligarchs are the richest?

The reason why United States’ (US) oligarchs are the richest in the world is because the US has never been the champion of democracy. That is why, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans, 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck. And that is why, China eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population.
While China seeks win-win economic relationships with all nations, the US instead seeks «America First» relationships. An excellent example of that is Puerto Rico.
The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory in the meantime (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too! The UN’s Puerto Rico decolonization hearing this year will be on Monday, June 16, 2025.
US imperialism has made America’s melting pot into a boiling pot. Can the 97% of Americans save themselves?
