US wars are always imperialistic

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto

Although the United States (US) claims to be the champion of democracy, it is constantly at war with almost every nation. The US also claims that the reason for that is, because the world is jealous of the US’ democracy and its defense of human rights.

The fact of the matter is that the world considers the US, on the contrary, as the biggest threat to peace. Please click on the following link to understand why and how the US tried to overthrow Fidel Castro in order to use Cuba for its own benefit, instead of for the benefit of Cubans: https://youtu.be/ZeFnQyLL8I4

President Kennedy said no to Operation Northwoods. Although Cuba today enjoys being a sovereign nation, the US has punished her for that with an illegal economic blockade that has lasted for over sixty years! Puerto Rico has also suffered under US imperialism.

The  US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory in the meantime (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too! The UN’s Puerto Rico decolonization hearing this year in New York City will be on Monday, June 16, 2025.

US wars are never about democracy.

Jose M Lopez Ismael
