US representative ignorant of PR history

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

United States Representative Stephanie Murphy was too kind to her nation when, at 59 seconds into this video, she said that “the hard truth is that the United States government (USG) has not always treated Puerto Rico very well.” Click on the following link to watch that video:

The fact of the matter is that the USG has abused Puerto Ricans for the past 123 years! The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico specifically to make her its colony. Thus, the USG has no intentions of making conditions well in Puerto Rico, because it wants all Puerto Ricans to abandon their national territory.

Once the USG could get a majority of “Whites” in Puerto Rico, then Puerto Rico will gladly become the 51st state of the Union. Today, more Puerto Ricans live off our national territory!

The USG is committing a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as a colony by virtue of its violation, not only of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945, but also by ignoring 39 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. This video might be helpful:

The more we understand our real history, the more solidarity we will have to do what is right. All nations have an inalienable right to self-determination and independence.

What could be more democratic than our inalienable right?
