US losing the coronavirus war

Por José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States (US) continues to break records of people testing positive for the coronavirus. Click on the following link for the latest information:

The US government (USG) is obviously broken for the 99% of its citizens. It is, however, working incredibly well for the 1% as they become even richer during the pandemic. When will the people decide to take control of our government?

The USG said that it couldn’t help Puerto Rico faster following Hurricane Maria, because she is in a big ocean. The 1% made a lot of money during that disaster too!

The 1% has made a ton of money maintaining Puerto Rico as a US colony for the past 121 years. The USG has done so, despite the fact that it is committing a crime against humanity!

To fully comprehend the extent of the 1% greed, the USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. Moreover, the USG has ignored 38

UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

And now with the US being the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, it is painfully clear that the USG doesn’t even care about its own citizens. Isn’t that the paramount responsibility of any government?

It is all on us, because the USG has shown to not be interested in LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

The people need to get involved to win!
