US’ human rights camouflage

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

A United States (US) official, of all people, recently visited the People’s Republic of China to accuse her of imaginary human rights violations. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/XpYcZMkTYdw

Even if that were so, the US chose to violate international law by meddling in the internal affairs of another sovereign state.

And, even if that were so, the US should have taken its evidence to the international forums that address human rights violations to address it.

The entire world, however, already knows that the US is no shining example of human rights. The US today is funding the artificial colonial settler state of Israel’s genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine in their own homeland.

The US hypocritically says that it is prepared to go to war with China to protect Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, while it has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Despite the world regarding the US as the biggest threat to peace, it still continues masquerading as the “champion of democracy”. With only 33% of Americans today being satisfied with our government, and 90% of Chinese being satisfied with theirs, the US’ “democracy” mask has definitely fallen off!

US’ “democracy” mask falls off!
