Of all people, the USG and the United Kingdom, who have long histories of slaughtering and colonizing indigenous people all over the world, have asked the United Nations (UN) to look into this.
In the case of Puerto Rico, the USG has never complied with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and has ignored 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/
Trump, aside from being hypocritical about his condemnation of China, is trying to distract attention of his criminal handling of the coronavirus pandemic in his own epicenter.
