US exceptionalism for whom?

The United States (US) has dominated the world since World War II. She has tried to present herself as the beacon of democracy and the defender of human rights around the world. That has been her narrative, but what has been her deeds.

The US government (USG) has made what the other non-exceptional nations regard as human rights, such as housing, education, health care and employment, into commodities to allow its capitalists (1% of US citizens) to make profit from them. That obviously is not beneficial to the 99% of its citizens, therefore, how could that be an example of democracy?

In the meantime, the USG has 800 military bases around the world. The USG is the number 1 nation that has had the most wars in the world. So much so, that the world regards the USG as the biggest threat to peace.

The USG says that its wars are to spread democracy and defend human rights. That is similar to Spain’s pretext for building her empire by saying that she was spreading Christianity. But in reality, US wars are to make the US 1% even wealthier. That was US Major General Smedley Butler’s warning the world in his book “War is a Racket”. Do you know that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?

The most recent example that the US is not a democracy is the coronavirus. 40% of US citizens who died of covid-19 should never have died. That is how the US became the epicenter. How could the US be a nation of, by, and for the people?

Is it possible for at least a third of the 330 million US citizens to realize that our nation is not an example of exceptionalism towards 100% of her citizens? Is it possible that we might organize to save ourselves from plutocracy? https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
