How could a real champion of democracy have 40 million of its own citizens living in poverty, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens too? And then the People’s Republic of China, who the US claims is authoritative, has eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population!
And how could a real champion of democracy consistently ignore 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too. The UN’s annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing is today Monday, June 16, 2025.
Democracies don’t commit crimes against humanity.
