The US and her allies lied in the Minsk Agreement. That is evident from the CNN news report in 2014 about Ukraine killing her own people in the Donbass region.
The US and her allies don’t care how many people die, as long as their oligarchs continue to get richer. Russia will never trust them again!
The US wants to destroy Russia, because, along with the People’s Republic of China, they threaten her hegemony.
Russia must win the US proxy war in Ukraine, because it is an existential threat to her. The US must now win, because it is obvious to everyone that the Ukraine war represents an existential threat to her hegemony. Thus, the world today is on red alert of nuclear war!
The US and her allies are not the garden!
