Trump answered Roselló with a definite NO

The Puerto Rico administrator for the United States (US) Empire, Ricardo Roselló, has been using the second class treatment that Puerto Ricans received after Hurricane Maria to ask the United States’ Government (USG) for statehood for Puerto Rico.
US President Trump answered with a definite NO, because of the bad quality of people in the Puerto Rico government! But, how is it possible for a colony to have a good government for her colonized people, when all of the laws affecting them are in favor of the USG?
Roselló is a scientist, but his mind, like all of the Puerto Ricans’ minds, are colonized! He really believes that, in the US democracy, votes are important. He can’t understand why the USG has not granted statehood for Puerto Rico, after Puerto Ricans have voted for that in 2 plebiscites!
Trump has now informed the world that votes are not the most important. Puerto Rico must first have good people in the Puerto Rico government. Roselló seems to not know the Puerto Rican saying, “He who makes the law makes the trap.” That is how the USG wiggles around!
Roselló doesn’t know that the USG classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race in 1898. The USG created the category of the non incorporated territories to put Puerto Rico in. These territories are the ones that will never become a state of the Union. Roselló doesn’t understand that the USG really isn’t about defending democracy around the world. The USG only cares about its own pocket. Puerto Rico has been a lucrative business for the USG since 1898, and it will never want to let her go!
If the USG were to be acting in good faith, and if it is not willing to grant Puerto Rico statehood, the honorable thing to do would be to return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Join the permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, and the 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
