Threat to US imperialism

By Jose M. Lopez Sierra – Puerto Rico

The People’s Republic of China poses a threat to the United States’ (US) capability of waging imperialistic wars by cutting off its rare earth supply to it. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/-3ARPw6P-68

The US made a huge mistake by starting a trade war with China, because it does not have the cards to win. The mistake started in 1980, when US oligarchs decided to move their industry abroad in order to take advantage of a cheaper workforce. That ended, of course, the «American Dream»!

40 million Americans live today in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans.

Moreover, the US consistently has ignored 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too. The UN’s annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing will be tomorrow, Monday, June 16, 2025.

The best way to end US imperialism is by doing what China has done. China is crippling the US’ military offensive ability to wage imperialistic wars like in Ukraine and in Palestine by withholding critical rare earth, de-dollarizing, and creating a multipolar world order.

No imperialistic military, no imperialistic war.
