The US’ self-destruction

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

Chris Hedges describes, in the following video, how empires historically have self-destructed in their delusionary belief that they are indestructible. Click on the following link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/gy3T-qQnDwc

The United States (US) is on that path.

The US government’s (USG) disastrous response to the corona virus proves that it is definitely not a government of, by and for the people. Who benefitted from the pandemic? Those are the people whom the USG truly represents.

Had the USG ever represented, “liberty and justice for all”, it would have never invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony 123 years ago.

Had the USG ever represented, “liberty and justice for all”, it would have never violated the United Nations’ Charter that prohibits colonialism for the past 76 years.

Had the USG ever represented, “liberty and justice for all”, it would have never ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Therefore, it is up to the people to force our government to represent all of us. We must, because a divided country cannot stand! http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

The clock is ticking.
