The protest shouldn’t stop in PR, but…

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

One of the protesters in the recent march against LUMA ENERGY – the private electrical company in Puerto Rico – said that we will not stop, just like we didn’t stop to get rid of the so-called “governor Ricky Roselló”. Click on the following link to watch that protest: https://youtu.be/k8EKZtU6660

The problem, however, that has resulted in having half of the population in Puerto Rico to live in poverty is the 124 years of United States (US) colonialism. It has also caused more Boricuas to live away, than in our national territory. That is a crime against humanity!

The US, for the past 77 years, has violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism. Moreover, the US has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Therefore, the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide should permanently protest to force the US to comply with international law!

US colonialism in PR is the bigger injustice. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Boricuas can’t see the bigger injustice!

Jose M Lopez Ismael
