The collapse of illusionary US democracy

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States (US) has never been a democracy. James Madison himself believed that the power of the US government should be in the hands of the wealthy, and not in the majority of its citizens.

That is why today, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, while 38 million Americans live in poverty. Madison proposed that the US government should be designed, using his own words, “to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority.” Please click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/WEnv5I8Aq4I

The fear of the rich that the majority of citizens could take their wealth could be removed by the US government reducing inequality. The US, governed by oligarchs, however prefers to reduce democracy!

If the US were to operate under real capitalism, the government would not use public money to bail out private businesses. The US, therefore, employs socialism for the rich, and only employs capitalism for the poor!

In the so-called “jungle”, according to western imperialism, the People’s Republic of China has already eradicated her poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. Instead of reducing democracy like the US, China decided to reduce inequality. That is why over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government, while only 40% of Americans are satisfied with ours.

No resistance no power to the people!
