Socialism is democracy

The West has dominated the global majority through imperialism.

Although the United States (US) claims to be the «champion of democracy», 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 102 million more live from paycheck to paycheck.
China, with just claiming to be doing her best, has eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 4 times the population of the «champion of democracy».
We must concede, however, that the US is the champion of imperialism. 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans.
This is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. And in the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty. This year’s UN Puerto Rico decolonization hearing will be on Monday, June 16, 2025.
Capitalism is imperialism.
