The correspondences of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee talked about what motivated them to cover Puerto Rico 6 months after Hurricane Maria. Click on the following link to watch this video: https://youtu.be/H9-QCFd2zgQ

What people need to know to put this coverage in perspective is that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the United States for the last 120 years. That is 6 generations! We have had a lot of practice dealing with adversity. Puerto Rico will never progress, until she is decolonized.

Most people don’t know that the United States government (US) is in violation since the creation of the United Nations’ (UN) of its Charter and 36 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Most people don’t know that the UN is in its 3rd decade trying to eradicate colonialism. That is why we organize permanent resistance to force the United States to comply with international and stop engaging in crimes against humanity.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Puerto Ricans are grateful for Full Frontal’s courageous decision to cover our tragedy, when the main stream media is perfectly happy to sweep it under the rug!

Thank you for also believing, as Martin Luther King said, that, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
