Puerto Rico is simply a US colony

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The following video named Puerto Rico is the most confused United States (US) territory is presenting the viewers with the official US narrative. Therefore, the confusion is by design to maintain Puerto Rico as a US colony forever. Please click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/NQfdoPEhf1M

The truth, however, is very simple.

The US militarily invaded Puerto Rico 125 years ago to make her a US colony. Today, however, the US alleges to support the sovereignty of Ukraine, although the US is the one that has her sovereignty since 2014, and alleges to support the sovereignty of Taiwan, although the US claims to recognize the One China Principal. That’s just as confusing as the video.

The video never mentioned the fact that the US has ignored 41 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US is therefore willingly committing a crime against humanity by choosing not to comply with international law. Why has the International Criminal Court not issued an arrest warrant against President Biden, as diligently as it did against President Putin? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

More Puerto Ricans today live away from our national territory than in. And of those who have refused to abandon our homeland, half live in poverty!

Instead of the video informing the viewers that the US must simply return immediately Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, it talked about various polls and plebiscites, as if they were more important than international law.

The video hides the fact that the US is a plutocracy, and that this so-call confusion is to enable US oligarchs to continue exploiting Puerto Rico. How else could 38 million Americans live in poverty today, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?

We must decolonize our minds to get unconfused.
