A New York Times article states that Puerto Rico has had an awful decade. The fact of the matter is that it has been awful since the United States (US) government militarily invaded her in 1898. Puerto Rico will always be exploited by the US government, unless Puerto Ricans unite and demand that the US government comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter and its 36 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
