Where is the United Nations (UN) in the United States’ (US) coup against Peru’s democratically elected President Pedro Castillo? Where are the western economic sanctions imposed on Peru’s dictatorial regime?
71% of Peruvians disapprove of the dictatorial regime that is backed by the US. The Peruvians are defending their real democracy, by engaging in permanent resistance until their demands are met.
Similarly, 60% of US citizens disapprove of our government. US citizens, however, are not engaged in permanent resistance, even though our government is provoking Russia into World War III!
US citizens should take a lesson from Peruvian democracy.
