People’s enemy is capitalism

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

Why is the United States (US) close to another civil war? Capitalism was the cause of the first civil war, and will be the cause of the second one too. Click on the following link to understand that connection: https://youtu.be/49anxrq_U_U

Slavery is great for capitalists, because it greatly maximizes their profits. Democracy is the worst for capitalism, because the wealth is distributed more equitably among all of the people.

33 years after the US government (USG) formally abolished slavery, it militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony. The USG did, because that benefited capitalism, and not democracy! The USG chose to violate the human rights of Puerto Ricans for the sake of the 1% of its citizens.

But to do so, the USG, for the past 76 years, has had to violate the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism because it is a crime against humanity. Moreover, the USG has had to ignore 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

You can’t have democracy with capitalism, because capitalism can never result in liberty and justice for 100% of the citizenry. Professor Richard Wolff has given us the hard data to understand that, because the US media, controlled by the 1%, never will.  https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Democracy isn’t free. Are we willing to fight for it?

Capitalism isn’t democracy.
