Are United States (US) citizens living in a fantasy bubble in which we truly believe that we are living in the greatest nation in the world? Why can’t we see what is really going on? Many of us are unaware that Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 123 years. The US government (USG) has never compiled with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945. The USG has ignored 39 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
