Creating a Boricua food revolution

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

Puerto Rico has lived a terrified existence since Cristopher Columbus landed on her shore in 1493. Puerto Ricans have been forced to live a life that has no connection to our indigenous heritage. That is why we have been heading towards our own destruction for the past 5 centuries.

Some young Boricuas have decided to return to our roots. Click on the following link to watch an inspiring video about creating a realistic hope for us: https://youtu.be/IWm-vv68mRc

The United States government (USG) will continue to run Puerto Rico exclusively for its interests forever, unless we alter its course. That means that we must engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to decolonize Puerto Rico. Do you know that the law is on our side? http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Going back to growing our own food is an excellent starting point to mount that resistance. Let’s us all engage in permanent resistance now, tomorrow and forever!

We must take back what is ours!
