The United States (US) exceptionalism is her ability to sell to the world the opposite of what really is. Thus, the war in Ukraine is Putin’s war. And if US controlled media repeats it enough time, US citizens believe it.
But the truth is the war in Ukraine is Biden’s war against Russia. The US government (USG) doesn’t care how many Ukrainians die, as long as Russian is weaken.
The USG doesn’t respect democracy. We know that, because Ukraine had a democratically elected government that was not hostile to Russia. The USG orchestrated a coup in 2014 to put one that is. https://www.wsws.org/en/topics/event/2014-coup-ukraine
The USG then said that Ukraine would become a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The USG knows that that represented an existential threat to Russia, but the USG would not back down. That’s another example of US is exceptionalism! It is important to note that Russia backed down from having her missiles in Cuba in 1962, to avoid a nuclear war with the US.
Biden’s war is important, because the USG only represents 1% of its citizens. The US has 800 military bases around the world. 80% of all of the wars after World War II were started by the USG. The US Military Industrial Complex is making a lot of money from wars, while the US is the epicenter of the coronavirus, with over a million deaths. Are you aware that 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?
Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 124 years. The USG has consistently refused to comply with 40 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. So while the USG give weapons to Ukraine to “defend herself”, and is in favor of Taiwan’s independence, it has no problem with maintaining Puerto Ricans as slaves!
US exceptionalism will kill us all!
