Does US care about human life?

The United States (US) government (USG) does not care about the loss of human life, when it gets in the way of its capitalists getting richer. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/hWO2CoYX8kg
This is why the USG is quick to denounce the civilian casualties in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but never mentions its illegal military operations where between 22,000 and 48,000 civilians were killed.
How does the US supposedly help Ukraine? She sends her weapons to fight an enemy that she could never beat. Why doesn’t the US instead withdraw her willingness to make Ukraine a North Atlantic Treaty Organization member? Wouldn’t that be more indicative of caring for the unnecessary loss of human life?
US only cares about maintaining her hegemony at whatever cost.
