The US wants to win, even if it means violating international law. Here are just a few examples.
The US has maintained an illegal economic blockade against Cuba for over 60 years.
The US says that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, while at the same time, has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
And today, the US is unconditionally supporting the artificial colonial settler state of Israel in its genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine.
Win-lose is what an empire does.
