Professor Norm Chomsky didn’t mention this one. President Truman ordered the military invasion of Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her a US colony. Puerto Rico has been a colony for the past 122 years, in violation to the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits it since 1945.
