The only way that that could ever happen is for money to be more important than human lives!
The sad truth is that the United States (US) of America is being governed for the 0.1% of her citizens. That is why Wall Street means more to the US government (USG) than the 99.9% of human lives.
What is the majority of the people going to do? Was the American Revolution a waste? Is the US Constitution just a piece a paper that could be trampled on? What did the US forefathers say that “We the People” should do when the US government no longer represents 100% of its citizens?
In the case of Puerto Rico, the USG has repeatedly refused to comply with 38 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
