Who is the US kidding?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States (US) government (USG) has imposed economic sanctions on China for her human rights record. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/oaS6CDXe9eo

China responded by saying that the USG should be the last one to accuse anybody of human rights violations. The USG committed genocide by reducing the population of Native Americans from 5 million at the end of the 15th Century to 250,000 at the beginning of the 20th Century. Moreover, the USG allowed 970,000 US citizens to die unnecessarily by its irresponsible handling of the coronavirus pandemic. If the USG were really cared about human rights in China, why did it militarily invade Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony? Aren’t Puerto Ricans people too?

If the USG were really cared about human rights in China, why has it refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and decolonize Puerto Rico? Instead, it has decided to continue committing, “a crime against humanity”!

If the USG were really cared about human rights in China, why has it ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Who is the USG kidding? The USG has never cared about human rights in its entire history! It only cares about making money for the 1% of its citizens via wars. How do you think that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens? And, why do you think that the world, according to Gallup Polls, believes that the USG is the biggest threat to peace?

“In God We Trust” indeed. “In Money We Lust” is what US currency should more accurately display!

“In Money We Lust” instead of “In God We Trust”.
