The fact of the matter is that the US has been the authoritarian for the past 75 years. The genocide today against the indigenous people of Palestine is possible, because the US is unconditionally supporting it.
The over 60 years of the US’ illegal blockade against Cuba is possible, because the US has decided to disregard 97% of the international community that wants it stopped!
The 127 years of US colonialism in Puerto Rico continues today, because the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x
And, the world considers the US, the so-called “champion of democracy”, the biggest threat to peace! The US, therefore, is the real authoritarian.
No wonder the US is isolated!
