Waiting for justice from racists?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

Juan Gonzalez of Democracy Now said that we are moving in the right direction, because Supreme Court Judge Neil Gorsuch said that the Insular Cases, from which the United States (US) government (USG) uses to discriminate against Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico, should be abolished. Why should Puerto Ricans, whom the USG considers belonging to an inferior race, wait for a racist government to impart justice on us? When has that happened?

The USG was the one that unilaterally decided to militarily invade Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony. The USG was the one that unilaterally decided to violate the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. And, the USG is the one that has unilaterally decided to ignore 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

On that note, the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide should immediately engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to respect our inalienable right under international law to self-determination and independence.

How could we wait for justice from a government that favors independence for Hong Kong and Taiwan, but not for Puerto Rico? That’s not democracy, that’s hypocrisy! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

US of hypocrisy.

Jose M Lopez Ismael
