The United States (US) government (USG) has tried for more than 6 decades to squash the Cuban revolution. The USG says, however, that it supports democracy. What about July 4, 1776? What could be more democratic than a revolution?

Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 123 years in violation to the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945 for being a crime against humanity. Democracy and capitalism are opposites. 245 years of capitalism is what has the US at her closest point of another civil year. Why didn’t we learn from the first one?
We want a real democracy.
