US fears Saudi’s independence

The United States (US) government (USG) is worried about Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s (MBS) unwillingness to comply with Washington’s wishes. The USG would be looking to remove the “cancer”, if he continues getting close to Russia and China. MBS has been considering abandoning Saudis’ agreement with the USG of selling her oil only in US dollars. That would be a devastating blow to US hegemony.
