US’ colonial Monroe Doctrine

The United States (US), once artificially created from European settler colonialism, continued with its own particular brand of colonialism via the Monroe Doctrine. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/aaTzW4Szk7o
Therefore, it is a myth that the US is the champion of democracy. If it were:
- Would the US have today its illegal economic blockade against Cuba for over 60 years, against repeated United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding its end?
- Would the US have today refused 42 UN resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?
- Would the US have allowed over a million deaths due to the pandemic, and have 38 million Americans living today in poverty, so that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world could be US citizens?
- And, would the US be committing today, along with Israel, genocide in Gaza in order to continue advancing its imperialism?
You can take an imperialist out of Europe, but you can’t take the imperialism out of an imperialist.
You can’t spread democracy with imperialism!
