US: champion of imperialism

If the United States (US) were the real champion of democracy, she would have demonstrated that after the collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

US Major General Smedley Butler wrote a book called WAR IS A RACKET in the 1930’s. Had US citizens read his book and heeded his warning, many US wars could have been prevented!
International Law (IL) gets in the way of US imperialism. This is why she speaks of a so-called, “Rules Based Order (RBO)”. The RBO means that the US dictates what the world must do. And should you refuse, the US will militarily invade you, or will unilaterally impose economic sanctions on you. Puerto Rico is a good example.
The US has had Puerto Rico as her colony for the past 124 years. Although this is perfectly consistent with US’ RBO, it is considered a crime against humanity under IL. The US has thus far criminally ignored 41 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
