US: a nation of perpetual wars

Today, the world considers the US government (USG) as the biggest threat to world peace and for good reasons.
One excellent example is the USG’s military invasion of Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898. That occurred 35 years after President Abraham Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg address in 1863 about the US being a nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
The USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. The USG has also ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
The coronavirus has proven to everyone that profits are more important to the USG than its own people. 2 world wars have been fought, because of imperialism.
