The only principle that the United States (US) government (USG) has is making money for its 1% of citizens. This is why less than 40% of US citizens approve of the actions of our government, while, at the same time, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. US hypocrisy has resulted in that the world regards her as the biggest threat to peace. Moreover, the fact that the US is the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, has confirmed that the USG is the biggest threat to its own citizens too!
If the US believes in democracy, why has she maintained Puerto Rico as her colony for the past 124 years? Why has the USG violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism for the past 76 years? If we want a nation with real principles, we will have to make that happen!
